Cuauhtinchan Sun Dance Mountain

This mountain is the home of Chief Abuelo Cristino and the place where his Sun Dance has been held for forty-one years. It is known as the oldest active Sun Dance in Mexico, a prayer that has remained alive through devotion, sacrifice, and community. Our relationship with this altar is one of respect and responsibility, honoring the lineage that has kept this prayer strong for so many generations.
